Werner and Rosi Wanderlust

Not much time for Christmas this year, with trying to get the apartment furnished, and all the visa arrangements taken care of.  Fortunately we got invited to a friend's house for Christmas eve, and they even had gifts for us.  Their Christmas eve dinner involved sushi, and all kinds of other "taste testing" foods. Spent time with friends at a Christmas Markt in Abensberg, north of Munich Germany. the Weinachtsmarkt at SchlossOrt in Gmunden Enjoying a little Christmas music. We've had a little bit of fog on occasion. Got lost in the fog on back country roads more than once. One of those lovely "back country roads." Peeked inside a few local churches. Wandered around Salzburg a bit. Looked for relatives.

OK, looks like we made it, and are off to our two year adventure.  Despite spending most of the first month getting our visa paperwork together, getting insurance, finding a place to live, buying furniture and other furnishings for our new home, and all that other not so fun stuff, we have been able to spend a little time checking out the beautiful sites and touristy things around here.
